Vogesite

Vogesite is a greenish-gray to dark-gray sub-volcanic rock that is named after the Vosges . Vogesite is a dark gangue rock ( lamprophyr ) and consists of alkali feldspar , plagioclase (subordinate), brown hornblende and diopside augite . Often there is also a small amount of olivine , which has usually been transformed into serpentine .
