The Vogteiamt Thuisbrunn was an administrative area of ​​the Principality of Bayreuth , which was also known as the Margraviate of Brandenburg-Bayreuth .

The Vogteiamt belonged to the lower administrative level of the Margraviate and was the most south-westerly located exclave of its Oberland. In addition to the main town of Thuisbrunn , the two neighboring towns of Haidhof and Hohenschwärz also belonged to the district of the Bailiwick . In these three places the Vogteiamt had the village and community rulership , the high jurisdiction was exercised by the Brandenburg-Bayreuth caste office Streitberg . Administratively, the Thuisbrunner Vogteiamt was subordinate to the Sankt Georgen administrative office and together with it formed part of the Bayreuth administrative authority .
