Voguéo is the name of a mode of transport that was inaugurated in June 2008 and runs on the Seine and Marne between Paris and the southeastern suburb of Maisons-Alfort .

After a test phase that ended on June 5, 2011, traffic is to be resumed in 2013. Until June 2011, the four boats only operated between Gare d'Austerlitz and the École Vétérinaire de Maisons-Alfort station ; an extension of the route to the west is planned.

The travel time for the test route, past the National Library , was around 35 minutes. In contrast to the existing tourist shipping lines on the Seine, the new Voguéo service is aimed specifically at everyday drivers and commuters; the tariff is integrated into the usual zones of the Île de France local transport network.

From the middle of the 19th century to 1934 there had already been a regular service on the Seine, at that time though through all of Paris to the western suburb of Suresnes .
