The Voie de la Liberté is a historic route in northern France, Luxembourg and Belgium, which shows the course of the liberation by the Allies after D-Day at the end of the Second World War . The length is 1446 km, each kilometer is marked by a kilometer stone (Borne).

In June 1944, Colonel Guy de la Vasselais, Liaison Officer of the French Armed Forces with the US Army, had the idea of ​​creating this historic route. Completion took place in 1946/47, the grand opening took place on September 18, 1947 in Fontainebleau.
