from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As Voilegarne controlled by spun yarns are referred to irrespective of its raw material.

With a twist (torsion) of 600 to 1200 t / m they are not twisted as hard as worsted yarn . They have a closed fiber structure. The fabrics made from it are hard to the touch, and when set loosely they show a high degree of slip resistance . The susceptibility to creasing is significantly reduced.

Voile threads are mostly double threads with a voile twist made from gassed cotton and merino worsted yarns.
