The Voit Automotive GmbH (proper spelling: Voit Automotive GmbH) is an in St. Ingbert -based automotive supplier. The group of companies employs around 1,000 people at its main location in St. Ingbert and more than 2,000 people at five production locations worldwide. In addition to the parent company, the group of companies includes Voit Automotive de México, Voit Polska and BTI.

history

The company was founded by Willy Voit on December 20, 1947 as a stamping and embossing workshop and manufactured small parts such as shoe irons, fuel caps, accessories for files and money boxes. It was not until 1959 that the company became an automotive supplier. In 1998 Voit Holding and Voit France were founded, the following year Voit México. In 2004 Voit-Tec was founded. In 2005 a new logistics center was put into operation. In 2013, Bieg Invest became the new parent company, which had already been involved in the establishment of BTI machining technology in 2008. On January 1, 2015, Voit became Voit Automotive and opened a large press center.

The French Fonderie Lorraine SAS, a joint venture between ZF Friedrichshafen AG and Voit Automotive GmbH under the majority stake and technology leadership of Voit Automotive , has been a new member of the Voit group of companies since January 1, 2017 .

Products

The technology company produces components for drive technology and assistance systems in aluminum die-casting and various processes in forming technology with finished functional surfaces and finished casting technology, as well as modules and components in stamping, drawing and bending-roll technology. Around 120 million Voit parts are installed annually in 250 vehicle models from 45 brands.
