The Lac Castignon is a lake in the north of the Canadian province of Quebec .
Lac Castignon is located 185 km south of Kuujjuaq in the north of the Labrador Peninsula in the area of the Canadian Shield at an altitude of about 185 m . The lake is traversed by the Rivière Swampy Bay . Upstream lies the adjacent lake Lac Chakonipau to the south-east , downstream the north lies Lac Minowean . The Lac Castignon has an area of 107 km².
The lake was named after Charles Castignon (1649–?), A member of the Compagnie de la Baie du Nord , which operated the fur trade in North America.
