The Rivière Swampy Bay is a right tributary of the Rivière Caniapiscau in the north of the Canadian province of Québec .
The Rivière Swampy Bay has its source at Schefferville . The Rivière Swampy Bay flows in a predominantly north-westerly direction. It flows through a number of lakes: Lac Gillard , Lac Le Fer , Lac Otelnuk , Lac Wakuach , Lac Chakonipau , Lac Castignon , Lac Minowean and Lac Patu . The Rivière Nachicapau flows into the river on the right. The Rivière Swampy Bay then flows through the Lac Canichico . Finally, the river flows into the Rivière Caniapiscau 150 km south of Kuujjuaq . The Rivière Swampy Bay has a length of 250 km.
