Volker Heimen

Volker Heimen (born October 2, 1943 in Meiningen ; † April 6, 2000 ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

Volker Heimen received his secondary school leaving certificate in 1958. He then attended a commercial vocational school. In 1962 he passed the business assistant examination. From 1962 to 1976 he worked for a tax and economic consultancy. In 1976 he became an independent business consultant.

politics

Volker Heimen was a member of the CDU from 1965. In 1970 he became a state delegate. He was a member of the executive district board since 1976. In 1969 he became a board member of the Bielefeld-Mitte city association and from 1966 to 1973 he was a board member of the Junge Union Bielefeld. He became a member of the City Council of Bielefeld in 1969, and since 1973 he has been deputy chairman of the CDU city council group.

Volker Heimen was a member of the 8th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia from December 13, 1976 to May 28, 1980, to which he moved up.
