Volkert Vorwerk

Volkert Vorwerk (* 1947 in Hamburg ) is a German lawyer , attorney at the Federal Court of Justice and university professor .

Live and act

Vorwerk studied from 1966 in Hamburg, Lausanne and Kiel and passed the First State Examination in Schleswig in 1970 . In 1974 he received his doctorate in Kiel and passed the second state examination in law in Hamburg. After working as legal advisor and head of the legal and patent department of a pharmaceutical company (1974) and as a lawyer at the Higher Regional Court of Celle (1979), he has been a lawyer at the Federal Court of Justice since 1995. His focus there are private construction contract law , banking and capital market law and industrial property law . Since 2006 he has also been an honorary professor at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University in Hanover , Institute for procedural law and lawyer-oriented training.
