Due to a general ordinance, this name had to be changed to "Volksbank Pfullendorf eGmbH" on July 1, 1944. Since an amendment to § 3 of the Cooperative Society Act came into force on January 1, 1974, the bank has been operating under the name “Volksbank Pfullendorf eG”.
