The Volksbank eG Sandhofen with over 125 years of tradition, a German cooperative bank in the legal form of a registered cooperative domiciled in Mannheim district Sandhofen has.

On February 21, 1886, the founding meeting unanimously decided to name the newly founded cooperative "Spar- und Loankasse Sandhofen-Scharhof". In 1953 the bank changed its name to “Spar- und Kreditbank Mannheim-Sandhofen” and finally in 1974 to “Volksbank Sandhofen”. Today it has branches in the northern Mannheim districts of Sandhofen, Schönau , Gartenstadt and Waldhof .

The business policy goals are geared towards the particularities and requirements of the region. The focus is on the members and customers. As a customer-oriented service provider, spatial and human proximity are offered.
