The elementary school "Children's Island at the water world" is an elementary school near the underwater world in the 15th Vienna district Rudolfsheim-Fünfhaus .
Educational work, equipment and offers
For working parents, the school offers early supervision from 7.15 a.m. and afternoon care until 5.30 p.m.
The school is a half-day school with 9 classes, two of which are integration classes and one multi-level class.

Outpatient teachers for moto pedagogy , visual impairment, hearing impairment, autism can also be requested.
The focus is on intensive support and accompaniment of the students in the school entry phase, English lessons from the first grade.
There are also classes with a focus on music, handicrafts, artistic design, movement and sport.
In elementary level I, an alternative performance assessment and multilingual lessons are carried out.
Football, choir singing, movement / dance and flute are offered as non-binding exercises.
As a school project "Multilingual Reading Studio" reading is carried out in German and in the mother tongue.
The school works with the Kindergarten Wurmsergasse and the Language Promotion Center Vienna in language promotion.
In 2015 the school was awarded the Austrian School Prize in the Reading Competence category.
