Full displacement pile

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Full displacement piles are piles, an essential component of the pile foundation , which are driven into the subsoil by displacing the soil. You are in the construction of civil engineering practice.

These include B. the ductile driven pile. With a diameter of approx. 17 cm, a pile carries around 800–1000 kN. The pile consists of short pieces that can be driven in with a ram in inaccessible places in any total length. The first piece of pile has a point, the next piece of pile is placed on a construction at the end of the first piece. Tensile loads are therefore not possible.

The load takes place z. B. by steel sheets that are concreted into the floor slab.
