Graeme Stuart Murty (born November 13, 1974 in Saltburn-by-the-Sea ) is a Scottish football player and coach .

His position was a right defender, and he last played for English club Reading FC , where he was also the team captain . He previously competed for York City . In 2017 and again in 2018 Murty worked as a coach for the Scottish first division club Glasgow Rangers .

Murty was born in England, but because of his family he is allowed to play for the Scottish national football team. He has been selected for the Scottish football team three times, first against Wales in 2004. He joined the Scottish team for the Kirin Cup in May 2006 and played in the win over Bulgaria on May 11, 2006. He also played against Japan participated when Scotland won the Cup.
