Volta Ciclística Internacional de Santa Catarina

The Volta Ciclística Internacional de Santa Catarina is a Brazilian cycling race.

The race was held for the first time in 1987 and has been held annually since then. The venue is the southern Brazilian state of Santa Catarina . From 2005 to 2010 the stage race was part of the UCI America Tour and was classified in category 2.2. The record winner is the Brazilian Márcio May , who has already won the race four times. The tour is famous for the traditional mountain stage to Serra do Rio do Rastro , which is one of the most difficult climbs in Brazil with an average gradient of 10% and a length of 7 kilometers.
