From the life of nature

Vom Leben der Natur is a series on Ö1 that is broadcast from Monday to Friday from 8:55 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. and reports on nature from a mostly scientific point of view. Researchers talk about a weekly topic they discussed from five different perspectives.

Vom Leben der Natur reports on topics from botany, chemistry, geology, ecology, physics and zoology. In addition to people from science, nature mediators also have the opportunity to speak from their interdisciplinary experiences.

The series is produced by Renate Pliem and designed by a number of journalistic employees.

The five-minute broadcast is also available as a podcast .

Awards

In 2006 Renate Pliem was awarded the Radio Prize of Adult Education Austria in the category of short programs for the series Vom Leben der Natur .
