Foremars

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The fore mars ( the fore mars , also the fore mars ) on sailing ships is the first platform ( Mars ) or the masthead of the foremast that is attached to the lower mast, i.e. the foremast .

Corresponding parts of the rigging are also designated after the fore-marsrah, for example, fore-lower marsrah and fore-upper marsrah, as well as fore-lower sails and fore-upper marshes. The Fockstenge there is also known as the Vormarsstenge.
