VostGOK ( Ukrainian Східний ГЗК / Державне підприємство "Східний гірничо-збагачувальний комбінат" ; to German: Public Company Eastern mines and process Kombinat) is the largest uranium mining - and processing plants of Ukraine , whose headquarters are in the town of Zhovti Vody in the northern kryvbas is .

The 100% state-owned company was founded in 1951 and is subordinate to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine.

VostGOK is the main employer in Schowti Wody and in 2007 produced almost 1,000 tons of U 3 O 8 in the city . In addition to uranium concentrate, the company also makes sulfuric acid and mining equipment.

The company has been operating a uranium mine in Smoline in Kirovohrad Oblast since April 28, 1972 .

In October 2010 an agreement was made to build a plant for processing uranium ore in Smoline. Construction of the nuclear fuel production plant began on October 4, 2012. The plant will start producing fuel for nuclear reactors of the VVER-1000 type common in Ukraine in order to secure the energy supply of Ukraine.

In December 2014, the French state-owned company Areva announced a collaboration with VostGok to jointly produce uranium in Ukraine.
