Vova and Olga Galchenko

Vladimir (born September 15, 1987 in Penza ), known as Vova , and Olga Galchenko (born July 31, 1990 in Penza) are a Russian juggling brother and sister.

Vladimir Vasilievich Galchenko, known as Vova, and his sister Olga Vasilievna Galchenko are originally from Penza , Russia, and both started juggling at an early age . At the age of seven, Vova went to a circus school. Fagone's newspaper article in the New York Times states that Vova entered circus school at the age of four. Olga went to circus school a few years later.

With the support of their parents, Vova and Olga began performing together. In 2001, her father filmed her doing tricks and posted the videos on a website. They soon received invitations to perform abroad.

Vova and Olga soon became widely known in the European juggling scene for their high level technical skills, both on and off the stage, as both were very young. At the age of 12 and 15, they participated in many major juggling events and festivals in Europe, including the British Juggling Convention 2002, Dresden Juggling Festival 2002 and 2003, the European Youth Circus Festival 2002 and the European Juggling Convention 2003. They also performed Juggling events in Israel and Japan.

They set numerous world records in club-passing , including:

  • 10 clubs - 378 litters caught
  • 11 clubs - 152 litters caught
  • 12 clubs - 54 litters caught

Both are currently studying Computer Engineering and Computer Science at different universities in Los Angeles .
