Vrasene is a district of the city of Beveren in the Belgian province of East Flanders .
Vrasene is located between the core town of Beveren and the nearby town of Sint-Gillis-Waas . There is a tram line just outside the city that connects to Melsele, Zwijndrecht and Antwerp . Vrasene has about 4,000 inhabitants. Vrasene is actually a small town with a small city center. Many farmers live there.
