Vroom is a racing game that was released in 1991 by the French game developer Lankhor . It appeared on the Amiga, Atari ST and MS-DOS. It was mainly programmed by Daniel Macré .
Gameplay
The player takes on the role of a racing driver and has to prove his skills. You can choose between various game modes and set the transmission to manual or automatic .
The partial use of polygon graphics is remarkable , which in 1991 was not yet a matter of course.
Predecessor successor
The first part appeared in 1986 as Wroom! for the Sinclair QL .
Vroom itself appeared revised in 1993 as Formula One for various systems, u. a. the Sega Mega Drive . The title was revised by Domark and received a license from FOCA .
