The Vulture Glacier is in Banff National Park in the Canadian province of Alberta situated glacier .
It's located northwest of Lake Louise and can be seen from the Icefields Parkway . It is an outlet glacier from the Wapta ice field . In the 1980s the glacier covered an area of 4.9 km². But like the other glaciers in the Canadian Rockies , the glacier is in retreat .
