Vytas Milius

Vytas Milius (born February 21, 1949 in Maksimonys , Varėna district ) is a Lithuanian lawyer, constitutional judge, former President of the Court of Appeal of Lithuania .

biography

In 1967 Vytas Milius graduated from the Merkinė Middle School near Varėna (now Vincas Krėvė High School) and from 1972 to 1977 graduated from the Law Faculty of Vilnius University . From 1977 to 1980 he served on the Executive Committee of the Šilutė Rajon Council. From 1980 to 1990 he was a judge and court president in the Šilutė District Court , then from 1990 to 1992 he was a judge of the Lietuvos Aukščiausiasis Teismas , from 1992 to 1994 court president of the District Court of Druskininkai , from 1995 to 2010 court president of the court of appeal of Lithuania, from 2010 to 2013 judge at Appeal Court. Has been a judge at the Constitutional Court of Lithuania since December 18, 2012 .

Milius speaks Russian , French and English.
