District Court of Šilutė
The District Court of Šilutė (lit. Šilutės rajono apylinkės teismas ) is an apylinkės teismas (district court) in the city of Šilutė , in northwestern Lithuania . The territory is the district of Šilutė . 8 judges and 6 assistant judges work in the district court ; a total of 37 employees (as of 2016). The court of appeal is the Klaipėda District Court (KLAT).
history
In 1900 the property of today's district court belonged to the German Friedrich Michalowsky, the judiciary of the Wolost Šilutė. In 1977 the People's Court building in Soviet Lithuania was renovated.
