Vytautas Arbačiauskas

Vytautas Arbačiauskas (born May 13, 1951 in Prienai ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

After graduating from high school, Arbačiauskas graduated in 1975 from the Faculty of Science of the Vilnius University in Vilnius . In 1975 he worked at the Kaunas Research Institute as an engineer and geologist . In 1988 he was the city's first Komsomol secretary. He then graduated from the CPSU party college in Leningrad and became the first secretary of the Lietuvos komunistų partija in Kaunas. From 1990 to 1992 he was director of UAB “Darsa” and from 1992 to 1996 a member of Seimas . From 1997 he worked as a managing director and chairman of the board at AB “Malsena”.

From 1990 Arbačiauskas was a member of the Lietuvos democinė darbo partija and from 2001 the Lietuvos socialdemokratų partija .

Arbačiauskas has the daughter Kristina and the son Vytenis.
