Vytautas Kriauza

Vytautas Kriauza (born March 16, 1955 in Gelgaudiškis , Rajongemeinde Šakiai ) is a Lithuanian politician and neurosurgeon .

Life

After graduating from secondary school in 1973, Kriauza graduated from the Medicinos institutas (KMI) in Kaunas in 1979 and became a surgeon in 1980 and neurosurgeon in 1981. From 1982 to 1989 he worked as a research assistant at the KMI, from 1989 to 1992 and 1993 to 1994 deputy director for surgery at KMUK , from 1992 to 1993 deputy minister and minister for health in the Šleževičius cabinet , from 1994 to 1995 neurosurgeon, from 1997 until 2000 Vice Minister for Health. In 2004 he completed his law studies at LTU , from 2005 to 2012 he was Deputy Director of the State Health Insurance at the Ministry of Health of Lithuania .
