Vytautas Vigelis

Vytautas Vigelis (born August 22, 1959 in Telšiai ) is a Lithuanian social liberal politician , former Vice Minister .

Life

After graduating from secondary school in 1978, Vigelis graduated in 1983 from the Klaipėda Faculty of the Lithuanian Music and Theater Academy and then from the Mykolas Romer University in Vilnius . In 1983 he worked in the Švenčionys House of Culture and then as a teacher in Baliuliai . In 1986 he was the deputy school director in Reškutėnai and from 1996 mayor of the Švenčionys Rajongemeinde . In July 2015 he was Lithuanian Vice Minister of Culture , deputy of Šarūnas Birutis in the Butkevičius cabinet .

Vigelis is a member of the Darbo partija . From 1993 he was a member of the Liberal Union of Lithuania , from 1999 of the Social Liberal New Union .
