Laundry baskets are available in a variety of designs. For example, there are both round and chest-like baskets . The materials of laundry baskets also vary. Accessible here include metal , wood , fabric , plastic , or a braid of pasture or rattan . Most laundry baskets are designed to be air-permeable so that any moisture left in the laundry can escape. Wooden or woven baskets in particular often have a fabric laundry bag attached inside that holds the laundry. Laundry baskets can also serve as seating.
