Dictionary of politics

The Political Dictionary is a political science lexicon published since 1995 by Alfred Kröner Verlag in Stuttgart by the political scientist Manfred G. Schmidt , Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg .

In 2010 it was published in the third revised and expanded edition with 3300 keywords and additional literature on all important policy areas. It is aimed at students, lecturers, journalists and practitioners.

It was consistently positively reviewed u. a. in the Frankfurter Rundschau , the Neue Zürcher Zeitung and the Swiss monthly magazine . Alexander Gallus even considered it the best one-volume dictionary of political science terminology.
