WAT Wieden
WAT Wieden is an Austrian sports club from Vienna . The women's basketball team has won the Austrian Bundesliga 17 times .
history
The club first took part in a basketball competition in 1952. From 1967 to 1977 the women won the championship eleven times in a row and then from 1979 to 1985 a further six times. The men took part in the Korać Cup twice. In 1974 the team failed in the second, 1990 in the first round.
In the meantime, the women's team runs under the name Basket Flames in the Vienna regional league.
