Postage stamps on the occasion of 150 years of Austrian postage stamps and WIPA 2000

The W ienna I nternational P ostwertzeichen- A xhibition ( WIPA ) (Engl. International Philatelic Exhibition in Vienna ) is a philatelic major event in Vienna , which so far held five times.

The first WIPA in 1933 was organized by Edwin Müller , one of Austria's most important philatelists . It was then held in 1965, 1981, 2000 and 2008. WIPA 2000 was marked by the death of Friedensreich Hundertwasser , who also designed many postage stamps. The last WIPA took place from September 18-21, 2008.
