Wjat is a medium wave - radio stations from Swainsboro , Georgia . In the 1950s, the station was owned by Jim Denny and country musician Webb Pierce . He was known nationwide through the transmission of the Peach State Jamboree .

Today WJAT is geared towards the talk radio format . The owner is "Radiojones, LLC ", which cooperates with Citadel Media and ESPN Radio .
