The WKG Kriegsmarine Danzig was a football club in the German Empire with its seat in what is now the Polish city of Danzig .
history
The WCG came in the season 1943/44 in the first class Danzig-West Prussia within the circle group Gdansk on. At the end of the season the team was in fifth place in the table with 9: 5 points. Nevertheless, the team qualified for participation in the promotion round to Gauliga Danzig-West Prussia for the coming season . Due to a final score of 6: 2 and the resulting second place in the table, the team could not qualify directly for the Gauliga. Nevertheless, the club was allowed to compete in the Gauliga in the 1944/45 season. In the first single-track Gau class, the team could not play a single game. Then the WKG was incorporated into the regional Gau class Staffel I Danzig . There, the game operation was then canceled in January 1945. At this point in time the WKG had played seven games and was in fourth place in the table with 6: 8 points.
With the surrender of the German Reich at the end of World War II , Danzig-West Prussia was placed under Polish administration. The association was then also dissolved.
