CLOUD scheme

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The WOLKE scheme is a uniform procedure for maintaining or restoring the operational readiness of a vehicle. The letters in the word CLOUD represent 5 points to be checked.

The WOLKE scheme is used as a donkey bridge , especially in the area of the Federal Armed Forces / Armed Forces as well as authorities and organizations with security tasks ( fire brigade , THW , aid organizations , police ). It is now slowly gaining acceptance in the civil sector. Some driving schools are already teaching their students the WOLKE scheme in a practical way so that even less technically experienced drivers can understand the scheme and always drive a roadworthy vehicle.

In the driving schools of the GDR, the use of the WOLKE to check the roadworthiness of the motor vehicle was an integral part of civil and professional driving license training.

The scheme can be extended to CLOUDS for the transport of dangerous goods .

These points can all be checked without tools - provided you have some technical understanding. Existing defects should be remedied as quickly as possible. If you discover a defect and cannot remedy it, the next superior (security officer, local fire chief, equipment attendant, etc.) must be informed. It is important that the next driver becomes aware of any defects in the vehicle: a note on the steering wheel or the windscreen ensures that consequential damage is avoided.

In the framework plan for the class-specific additive in classes B and S (2 double hours) of the driver training regulations (FahrschAusbO), the topic is a mandatory subject in the subject area of operational and road safety. Here the CLOUD scheme is used by the driving schools.

The WOLKE-AMA scheme exists as a further supplement / variant
