WT1 is an Austrian regional private TV broadcaster based in Wels .

history

After the broadcast of private television in Austria via cable was legally made possible in 1996 and Wolf Dieter Holzhey won the competition for the license in the Wels and Wels-Land area , he founded WT1 in the same year as Austria's first regional TV broadcaster.

WT1 is now a partner broadcaster of the private broadcaster LT1, which is also operated by Holzhey, and designs the program together with it.

Technical scope and program

The transmission area extends to the city of Wels and all larger towns in the Wels-Land district and can be received via various cable systems, such as the Wels Department of the Wels-Grieskirchen Clinic and in the digital network of Liwest and UPC Austria in Wels and Wels-Land . The program thus reaches around 70,000 seers.

WT1 is a weekly magazine that starts every Wednesday at 6 p.m., has a length of 60 to 120 minutes and is broadcast until the following Wednesday at 6 p.m. It is broadcast on a rotation principle around the clock every 60 to 120 minutes, so that it is broadcast at least 15 times a day.
