Wacław Chodkowski

Wacław Chodkowski (born October 6, 1878 in Kozienice , † March 11, 1953 in Warsaw ) was a Polish painter .

Life

Chodkowski studied art at the Warsaw Art School a. a. with Wojciech Gerson . He was a member of the Warsaw Society for the Promotion of Fine Arts , in whose Galeria Zachęta he also regularly exhibited his works and had his studio.

During the Second World War, both his studio and most of the paintings he had made up until then were destroyed.
