Waci (also: Ouatchi , Gbe, Waci , Waci-Gbe , Wachi , Watyi ) is the language of the Watchi .

The Watchi live mainly in Benin and Togo . Waci is one of the Kwa languages .

Overall, the number of speakers at the Waci is estimated at around 475,500. Waci speak about 110,000 people in Benin (1991) and about 365,500 people in Togo. In Togo, the Waci speakers live mainly in the towns of Vogan, Tabligbo and Attitigon. In Benin, they mainly live in the Province of Mono.
