Wadi Dinar

The Wadi Dinar is a wadi in Libya . It's about two kilometers wide and about 20 kilometers from Bani Walid . It is located an average of 177 meters above sea ​​level .

The wadi is overgrown with olive trees.

history

In the war of independence against Italy in 1928 a battle took place in the Wadi Dinar.

During the 2011 civil war, it was reported that Khamis al-Gaddafi was ambushed and killed along with a son of Abdullah al-Senussi on August 27 .
