Wadj-wer is an ancient Egyptian god of fertility whose main place of worship was in the Nile Delta . Its name "Großer Blauer" or "Großer Grüner" refers to the mythological primeval sea from which all life arose. Wadj-wer is depicted as bisexual with strongly emphasized breasts and the belly of a pregnant woman. Water lines adorn his body. The deity has been documented since the Old Kingdom .
