Wafangdian

The city of Wafangdian ( 瓦房店 市 , Wǎfángdiàn Shì ) is an independent city on the Liaodong Peninsula in the Chinese province of Liaoning . It belongs to the administrative area of the sub-provincial city of Dalian . Wafangdian has an area of 3,793.5 km² and has a population of 1.026 million (2010). Wafangdian is the center of the Chinese ball bearing industry.
Administrative structure
At the community level, Wafangdian is made up of eight street districts , fifteen large communities and nine communities (two of which are Manchu ).
