Wagamama
Wagamama is a fast-food chain for Asian dishes. Alan Yau is the founder and The Restaurant Group plc has been the owner since October 2018.
Opened in 1992 in Bloomsbury , London , Wagamama was the first restaurant of its kind in Europe . There are now 60 branches worldwide . The design of the restaurants is influenced by the ramen shops in Japan . The brand slogan is: "positive eating + positive living". The restaurants in the United States, as well as in England, Scotland and Wales are subsidiaries of wagamama ltd, and franchise partners operate the restaurants in 23 other countries around the world.
In Switzerland there were restaurants in Winterthur from 2008 (closed again after 16 months) and in Zurich until 2016 .
