Wahan Geworgian ( Armenian Վահան Գեվորգյան , Wahan Geworgjan; born December 19, 1981 in Yerevan , Armenian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Polish football player of Armenian origin.

Club career

Geworgian came to Poland as a child and went through the youth teams at Wisła Płock (formerly Petro Płock and Orlen Płock ). In 1999 he made his debut for Wisła Płock in the Polish Ekstraklasa . From 1999 to 2007 he completed a total of 163 games in which he scored 21 goals for Wisła Płock. At the end of 2007 he moved to the newly promoted Jagiellonia Białystok . Here he got only a little working time and returned to Wisła Płock before he was sold to ŁKS Łódź in 2008 . For ŁKS he completed twelve games in the 2nd division. The first round of 2010/11 Wahan Geworgian was without a club. At the end of February 2011 he signed a 6-month contract with the 2nd division club KSZO Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski . Here he convinced with five goals in 16 appearances. For the 2011/2012 season he moved to the then Polish second division club Zawisza Bydgoszcz . In total, Wahan Geworgian played 199 games and scored 24 goals in the Polish Ekstraklasa. There are also 64 games and nine goals in the 2nd division, as well as cup and UEFA Cup games. In 2014 he won the Polish Cup with Zawisza Bydgoszcz. In the Polish Supercup, he scored the 3-2 winning goal against champions KP Legia Warsaw in the 90th minute .
