Marie-Thérèse Weber-Gobet (born January 8, 1957 in Freiburg im Üechtland ) is a Swiss politician ( CSP ).

biography

From 2004 to 2012 she was Vice President of the CSP Freiburg. From 2004 to 2008 she was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Friborg . From December 1, 2008 she was a national councilor . In the National Council she was a member of the Business Audit Commission (GPK) and the Commission for Social Security and Health (SGK) . Like her predecessor Hugo Fasel , she had joined the Green parliamentary group . In the 2011 elections Marie-Thérèse Weber-Gobet was not re-elected.

Marie-Thérèse Weber-Gobet studied pedagogical and developmental psychology at the University of Freiburg (Switzerland) and at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität in Bonn and graduated with a licentiate . She trained as a print and TV journalist and previously worked as a journalist, course instructor and family woman. Today she is Head of Social Policy at Procap Switzerland, the largest member association of and for people with disabilities in Switzerland. She holds the position of Vice President on the Board of Trustees of Pro Senectute Switzerland. Weber-Gobet is married, has three children and lives in Schmitten .
