Waldemar Burghard

Waldemar Burghard (* 1924 in Osnabrück ; † January 2002 ) was a German police officer and until 1983 director of the Lower Saxony State Criminal Police Office.

Life

At the end of a long criminal investigation -Career he was from 1971 to 1974 Head of Criminal Investigation in the Police Department Hanover and was then to 1983 Director of the State Office of Criminal Investigation Lower Saxony . Before his extensive activity as a specialist writer on police topics, he initially wrote more popularly. In 1948 the Small School of Self-Defense was established and in 1955 Better ride a motorcycle . He wrote several articles in the magazine Das Motorrad under the pseudonym “WaBu”. He had the affectionate nickname "Waldi" among his employees .
