The Waldorf Astoria Chicago (formerly Elysian ) is a skyscraper in Chicago, USA . The tower, built between 2006 and 2010, is 209 meters high and has 60 floors for mixed use. Among other things, 236 apartments are housed in the building. The facade of the building was designed with brownish stone and the windows were inserted individually, which sets the design apart from that of most other skyscrapers that were built at the beginning of the 21st century . The company Elysian Worldwide Chicago Development LLC commissioned the construction of the Elysian.

The five-star hotel , which occupies the lower floors, was part of the association The Leading Hotels of the World .
