Walentyn Sljusar

Walentyn Wassyljowytsch Sljusar ( Ukrainian Валентин Васильович Слюсар, born September 15, 1977 in Kiev ) is a former Ukrainian football player . The midfielder was a Ukrainian international .

He played in the second and third teams of Dynamo Kiev until 1998 . Then he moved to Metallurg Donetsk in the Premjer-Liha . In 1999 he was with FK Rostov in Russia and then went back to the Ukraine to join Obolon Kiev . From 2000 to 2002 he was under contract with Zakarpattya Uzhhorod . Stations at Polihraftechnika Oleksandrija , Nywa Vinnyzja and again Zakarpattya Uschhorod followed . From 2005 to 2010 he played with Metalist Kharkiv . From 2007 he was with the club each third of the Premjer-Liha. At the UEFA Cup 2008/09 Kharkiv reached first place in the group stage and was only eliminated in the round of 16 against national rivals Dynamo Kiev. In the summer of 2009, Sljusar was banned for two months because of a positive doping test . For the last two years of his career he was back with Obolon Kiev.

Slyusar was called up to the Ukrainian national team twice between 2008 and 2009.
