Wall castle Bubenheim
The Wall Burg Bubenheim is located in Bubenheim near Rommelsheim , a district of the municipality of Nörvenich in the Düren district .
Bubenheim Castle , a former moated castle, is located between Jakobwüllesheim and Rommelsheim . On its west and north side, the remains of a rampart are still preserved, which lay directly in front of the moat . It used to enclose the whole castle. The wall width is 11 m, the height to the outside 2.00 m and to the inside towards the filled trench 2.60 m.
The ramparts were entered on July 9, 1985 in the list of ground monuments in Nörvenich under No. 2.
