Pilgrimage Chapel (Gschnaidt)

The Roman Catholic pilgrimage chapel is located in Gschnaidt , a district of Altusried in the Oberallgäu district ( Bavaria ). The chapel is a listed building. The geostete chapel is located directly next to the old chapel and was built in 1856 by the master mason Martin from Grönebach built. It was inaugurated a year later, in 1857. There is an octagonal roof turret on the hall, which is closed on three sides . The hall consists of two window axes with tracery windows . The ceiling of the hall forms a reticulated vault .

The neo-Gothic furnishings come from the time it was built. The wooden figure of the Immaculate dates from the 18th century . The painting of the Crucifixion is signed Fahrenschon 1855 . The votive pictures date from the 19th century.
