Walram V. (Limburg)
Walram V († October 14, 1279 ) was Duke of Limburg from 1247 to 1279 .
As the last of his tribe, Walram ruled the Duchy of Limburg from 1247 to 1279 , which had passed to Walram after the death of his father Heinrich IV . Walram's older brother Adolf became Count von Berg.
In his first marriage, Walram was married to Jutta von Kleve (actually: Judith). With her he had a son, who died before or with his mother, and a daughter, Ermengard (Irmgard), who married Rainald I , Count of Geldern .
After Jutta's death, Walram married Kunigunde von Brandenburg, daughter of Otto III, in 1273 . of Brandenburg . The marriage was brokered by Siegfried von Westerburg , Archbishop of Cologne.
After his death, the Limburg succession dispute broke out.
